The course is open to all who can provide proof of relevent experience
over a period of time. Admittance is by personal interview.
Level 3 covers craft and supervisory work. The
standard is met by developing a portfolio of practical and knowledge
evidence requirements. If appropriate, accreditation of prior learning
can be used to achieve some requirements.

The lenght of time taken to achieve the qualification varies. Most
candidates take around one year.
The theory work and lecture attendance are confined
to the winter period.

The course covers 9 units and 25 elements depending on the option.
Options at level 3 include Landscaping and Sports
Turf Maintenance.
