| Description: |

The course is open to Course Managers, Head Greenkeepers, Supervisors,
First Assistants and Foremen who can provide proof of relevent experience
of a period time. Admittence is by personal interview.
Level 3 covers craft and supervisory work. The
standard is met by developing a portfolio of practical and knowledge
evidence requirements. If appropriate, accreditation of prior learning
can be used to achieve some requirements.

The lenght of time taken to achieve the qualification varies. Some
candididates achive over one or two winters
Support and direstion is available at GOSTA premises
on Wednesday from 3.15pm to 4.45pm from November to March and by
telephone at other times.

The course covers 9 units and 25 elements depending on the option.
Options at level 3 include Landscaping and Sports Turf Maintenance.
